If you’re a beer lover in Philadelphia and you haven’t tried the Memphis Taproom then you’re missing the latest gem in Philadelphia’s craft brew pub crown.
Located in the gray fringe between Fishtown, Port Richmond and Kensington, MT rocks some unbelievable, exclusive American craft brews and a thoughtful menu of local specialties that’ll remind you of your grandma’s Sunday cookin’.
The highlight of the menu is the Port Richmond Platter - a perfect mix of Polish nosh including potato pancakes, smoked kielbasi, sauerkraut and pirogies. They nailed it with this one, it’s the shiz-nit.
The guys who run the place are beer nerds so there are always amazing choices in every style from Belgian to hoppy American standards.
Now if they would just get me some Pliny the Elder!
