Racing Rain
On a recent trip to a tall building I became mesmerized by the beauty of the rain running down its smooth glass surface. I was lucky to be carrying my Canon 7D and three lenses so I went to work and this is the result.

Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs – Green Screen shoot and edit
This was a green screen shoot with Julain Krinsky. We produced six of these spots to the client’s specification.
They ultimately decided on a plain white background with some simple transitions and a logo.
This was shot with a Sony EX-3 feeding a nanoflash, recording XDCAM codec at 50mb.

The Boxer
I recently dropped by Joe Hand’s Boxing Gym in Philadelphia to test out a new piece of video gear that I am really excited about.
The Glidetrack SD is a nifty aluminum slider for small video cameras. It allows you to get cool tracking shots that can take your videos to the next level. I have never had such a simple and relatively inexpensive piece of video gear add so much polish to my videos, right out of the box.
I was fortunate to drop in on the workout of Kenneth Weister, a 32 year old personal trainer/fitness consultant and amateur boxer who has won some city championships including the 2007 Philadelphia Golden Gloves Championship. Ken is a few fights away from turning pro and I’m happy that he allowed us to take a few shots of him.
Shot on the Canon 7D with a Canon 17-55mm f/2.8, a Nikon 135mm f/2.8, and a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. Glidetrack SD. Music: “The Boxer” by ParkerDigital.

Canon 7D test
I shot this with the newly released Canon 7D DSLR. Yeah, that’s right, a still camera that shoots 1080p high definition. Pair this camera with some manual prime lenses and you have a really nice new tool for shooting high-end video.
I didn’t really do anything to this footage, just some minor color correction. This is just a collection of shots to test the camera, nothing more than spontaneous shooting.
The gentleman playing the guitar is an artist named Bob Bender. His fine art paintings are on display at a local photography shoppe and when the weather is nice, he can be seen and heard playing outside.

Got BS?
This is a marketing video that we put together for a building products company called Housing Products, Inc. They had a trade show coming up and they concocted a video idea that had them talking about “Brand & Service” or “BS”. They wanted it shot news style in a single day with interviews from real customers. This is what they got!
produced, directed, shot and edited by Rob Parker with much help from the good folks at HPI
